21st Hoggetowne Medieval Faire
Jan. 28th, 2007 02:53 pmWow, I was at the very first Hoggetowne when it only lasted from 12 – 5 on a Saturday at the Thomas Center. This year it goes for 6 days and has taken over most of the county fair grounds. There are at least 200 booths selling just about everything. I would have bought a lizard if the cats wouldn't have considered it an appetizer.
I really didn't want to go because I was feeling flat out exhausted but I promised Edward and Katje that I would so I did.
Saw some people I hadn't seen in a looong time. Some for at least 10 years. I spotted one woman, an ex of an ex room mate who I hadn't seen in 15 years. I have to say that time has been kinder to some than to others.
Got a hug from Tolabi, the former Baron and best hugger of An Croissaire, got to hold a lizard, saw the most beautiful horse I've ever seen, and generally had a good time even though I felt three days dead by the time I made it back to my car.
I've got some pictures but they are still in the camera and I don't feel like messing with them today. If they turned out good I'll probably post them late
