It was a LONG drive to get here. I had to stop at Walgreens, Best Buy, my work place, and for gas, breakfast, and lunch so after leaving home at 8:30 we got checked in around 4.
I've already dropped $25 on the cutest pair of modern design geta that go perfectly with the yukata I brought for dressy wear. I'll get someone who knows how to use a camera to take a picture tonight. When I ask my cousin to take a picture I usually turn out looking dead.
The guy that sold them to me has a hapi and and an obi that I'm drooling over but I wanted to wait and look at them when I was wearing the yukata. Figures he would close for the day 10 minutes before I made it back downstairs. The stupid color stuff I used in my hair made it hard to manage and the new adhesive I'm trying for my ears doesn't set that quickly so I kept knocking my ears off while trying to fix my hair.
I've been through the art show and there is some wonderful stuff ranging from $5 prints to $25,000 oil paintings.
The geta are cute but my feet hurt! I'm gonna take a nap so I can stay awake for the slash panel and the Dr. Horrible sing-a-long.
