I just came back from a walk around the property and NOW I have the shakes. Everything looks fine from the front but when I went around the old trailer there were a few largish limbs down. They missed anything important and that wasn't too bad. Then walked down towards the lake and came to the first downed pine. Fortunately it fell away from the neighbor's or I'd owe them repairs on their fence and shed.

Still, it was an older tree, that sort of thing happens. THEN I got down to the lake. There is an area about 20 - 30 feet wide where the small trees that were there are chewed up like a giant lawn mower ran over them. A pine there is snapped off at about 9 feet with the rest in three big chunks that are kinda leaning against each other. On the other side of the canal that links our small pond to the larger lake there aren't even any limbs down.

I'm no expert but it looks to me as if a small twister lightly touched down before skipping off again. Thank God it was back there and didn't come close to my camper. I am so glad not to have come home to a repeat of Francis.
