If you shell out the money do you get more than 25 notifications? I see where it says you get more icons and a longer list of recent comments but it's the notifications that I run short on. 

And has anyone tried the Plus account with the ads? Are they too obnoxious to inflict on people?

I have a Plus account (did it for the user pics), and I don't really find the ads too obnoxious. You could always give it a try and if it doesn't work, just switch back to basic.

True, I thought about that and then decided to ask first. I hadn't even really noticed the ads on your page so I think that's what I'll do.

what kind of notifications are there limits on? i don't remember that from when i had a nonpaid acct. i found the adds annoying in my layout...

When you are tracking comments to a post on basic you only get to track up to 25 posts at a time. With the frequency of posts by XTerminal and InuErotica I can't even keep a weeks worth of my friends posts on the list.
