So, I looked at my journal, then I went to Fano's friends page and after going ever further back I finally found that my last four posts show up here as public but do not show up at all on the friends pages of those who have friended me.
Sooooo.
I just went through and deleted them and am reposting them as one long post.
PS, I am way behind on reading MY friends page. Expect a bunch of comments this weekend. Or not since I'm getting the trailer Saturday and my cousin is in town for a visit. I'll catch up eventually. Really.

Speaking of That Luxury Cruise Around the World...
Anybody got a spare $30,000 or so? Starting this month the Queen Mary II offers an 81 day cruse around the world conveniently starting in Florida.
The cruse starts in Ft. Lauderdale on the 10th and returns the morning of April 2nd. Tickets start at $21,195 but I'm sure there are taxes and you'll need pocket money.
I will admit that the itinerary is not what I'd like. Only one day is spent in most of the ports, no high speed internet in the rooms, and Japan is by passed completely. Still 81 days of relaxation with short stops in cool places to keep it interesting sounds great.
*Le Sigh*
I have GOT to remember to buy a lottery ticket.

Update
I found a handyman who will do the septic and electrical connections so it looks like I may be able to move in within the week. If they charge the batteries before they deliver it I'll probably go ahead and start moving in Saturday since the holding tank should last until the outside work gets done.
Wheeeeeee!!!!!

The Geek Hierarchy
Flow chart explaining the relative hierarchy of geekiness in fandom. The flow goes from least geeky at the top to most geeky at the bottom. The lowest I went on any subset was 5 levels down. Whether or not that's something to brag about is up to you.

Date: 2007-01-12 03:54 am (UTC)yeah, that date stuff w/ lj is wonky. i've found that the first time you post, it take the date/time you save (even if it's a private save) and fixes that as the order in which your post appears. and no matter how many times you change the date/time, you can't move the post "up" in line w/o reposting (like you did).
also, just so you know, if you back date something it doesn't show up in your friend's lists at all this is cool if you just want to post something to link to... but not if you really would like it to show up folk's flists... no, this doesn't all make 100% sense...
ewwww. i'm lower on that chart than i like....
what is with the noodle guy? i was eating in a sushi restaurant yesterday and heard a little old lady telling her dotty hubby about him. and your are at least the 3rd person onmyflist to lament his passing... that stuff is so full of sodium it'll kill you...
glad to hear you're not dead.

Date: 2007-01-12 11:32 am (UTC)Instant ramen is almost the perfect food. If you overlook the high sodium and almost complete lack of nutritional value. Hee! It's dirt cheap, shelf stable, filling, and tastes good. If they'd add some vitamins to it it would be People Chow. Before my body decided that it didn't like wheat anymore I would have it at least once a week.
