Any Cardcaptor Sakura fans out there?

I'm two episodes away from the end of the anime and I seriously need someone to squee with. Pleeese? I'd especially like to hear from anybody who has read the manga since I've just started reading that and I'm really curious about if, and how, the two differ.

And why is there so little good Touya/Yuki fanfic out there???

Plus, that call for fellow Hikaru no Go fans to come out of the woodwork from a few months ago still stands. Somebody else has got to like Hikaru/Akira.

Right here! Actually, CCS was my first fandom and my first anime. I love it still, though I haven't actually read any fanfic in years. I've read all the manga (got 'em all too, should you wish to borrow some...), and yes, the anime deviates from the anime. I don't want to spoil you, so for now I'll just say that I prefer the manga.

I really don't mind spoilers, in fact I went looking last night for the same sort of comparison between the manga and anime that I've seen in the past for other series. Didn't find anything though. I swear the Wiki entry for the series used to have more spoilers.

There are things that are recurring in fanfics I'm reading that have no basis in the anime so far and with two episodes left I'm wondering if the stuff will be in the series finale, if it was from the manga, or if it's fanon.

Mainly I want to know how things might differ for Touya and Yuki. I love the episodes towards the end of season three where we get to see them interacting so affectionately, do we get more of that earlier in the manga?

A lot of the fanfics have Yue and Yuki as pretty distinct personalities but like Touya said, they really are a lot alike. The only difference I can see in them from the anime is that Yuki is Yue with amnesia so he doesn't have the grief and anger over Clow and the feeling of alienation that Yue does.
